About Root Canal Therapy

Root canal therapy treats infection or inflammation deep inside a tooth, in the soft pulp that contains nerves and blood vessels. It relieves pain and, importantly, lets you keep your natural tooth.

Despite its reputation, a modern root canal is typically no more uncomfortable than getting a filling. We use effective numbing and gentle techniques, and most patients are relieved by how straightforward it is.

Once the infection is cleared and the tooth is sealed, we usually protect it with a crown so it stays strong for years to come.

What to expect

Your treatment journey, step by step

We keep every stage calm, clear, and comfortable — so you always know what's happening and why.

  1. Diagnose the problem

We examine the tooth and use X-rays to confirm the infection and plan treatment.

  2. Numb & clean

The tooth is thoroughly numbed, then the infected pulp is gently removed and cleaned.

  3. Seal the tooth

The cleaned canals are filled and sealed to prevent further infection.

  4. Protect with a crown

We typically place a crown to restore full strength and protect the tooth long term.
