About Tooth-Coloured Fillings

When a cavity forms, a filling restores the tooth before the decay spreads. We use modern, tooth-coloured composite fillings that bond directly to the tooth and match your natural shade — no dark metal.

Beyond looking better, composite fillings are mercury-free and require less removal of healthy tooth structure than older silver fillings. The result is a strong, natural-looking repair.

If you have old, worn, or darkened metal fillings, we can comfortably replace them with tooth-coloured ones for a fresher, healthier-looking smile.

What to expect

Your treatment journey, step by step

We keep every stage calm, clear, and comfortable — so you always know what's happening and why.

  1. Diagnose the cavity

We confirm the extent of decay using examination and, when needed, X-rays.

  2. Numb & gently clean

The area is numbed and the decay is carefully removed to leave healthy tooth.

  3. Place & shape the filling

Tooth-coloured composite is layered, bonded, and shaped to match your bite.

  4. Polish & check your bite

We polish the filling and confirm it feels comfortable when you bite down.
